Zafiro Jewelry artist Cindy Espinoza discovered her passion for jewelry while traveling the world. Influenced by ethnic and antique styles, her pieces incorporate wire wrapping techniques with the finest precious/semi precious gemstones, gold filled and sterling silver metals. Artist also uses traditional techniques of hammer and fire to forge shapes and beads in her designs. The use of sapphires, tourmaline, rubies, emeralds, and turquoise - all deeply colored stones – recall inspiration from her adventures to over 40 countries. Recently back from Costa Rica, where she was volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, Espinoza has a new collection to share.
